Hardcore 2000AD and Judge Dredd comic fans were not too stoked at this live action rendition of the planet’s most hardcore future cop. This came two years after Stallone appeared in Demolition Man. They are very similar movies, although Dredd loses against Demolition. For all of its shortcomings this is however a watchable movie.
Clint Eastwood should’ve gotten the role, otherwise the obvious choice, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
