CRANK

With Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Efren Ramirez, Dwight Yoakam, Carlos Sanz

Written & Directed by Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor

The premise of this movie boils down to “non-stop”. A guy involved in the underworld wakes up to one hell of a bad day – he has been poisoned by a rival and unless his adrenaline levels are kept at a peek level, he’ll die – so, he has to keep rocketing forward as he tries to get to the bastard who did it to him, from running and speeding in cars, to taking drugs and having sex. It’s one hell of a crazy ride which feels like a cross between the movies D.O.A. and Speed.
