DOG SOLDIERS

With Sean Pertwee, Kevin McKidd, Emma Cleasby, Liam Cunningham, Darren Morfitt, Chris Robson, Craig Conway, Leslie Simpson

Directed by Neil Marshall

Director Neil Marshall made his debut with this innovative werewolf-soldier film. A group of soldiers on exercise maneuvers in the woods come up against one hell of an enemy – a family of tall, deadly werewolves. They barricade themselves in a cottage after several men bite it, systematically becoming wolf chow. Action packed and very well made with a good cast, making this well worth checking out. This film began the collaboration of Marshall and many regulars, including cast members like Pertwee, Morfitt, Conway,
Cleasby and Robson, and crew like Simon Bowles (production designer) and Sam McCurdy (cinematographer), going on to make such exciting flicks together like The Descent and Doomsday.
DVD includes a Making Of with interviews, as well as Marshall short film Combat.
