DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT

With Rosie Holotik, Anne MacAdams, Jesse Kirby, Gene Ross
Directed by S.F. Brownrigg

Billed as a '70s drive-in favourite, it is understandable as car occupants had nothing much on screen to distract them from their actual business at hand! A new nurse arrives at the unconventional Stephens Sanitarium in Florida where the doctor in charge has been recently killed. The killing is covered up and his assistant is in charge. The varied nuts are all unconvincing suspects as the killings continue. It doesn't take too much of a genius to figure out the punch-line, but it has its moments, some inadvertently funny. The low budget shows, but it can be a cool accessory if you're having a silly alcohol fuelled fright-movie-night.
