SILENT NIGHT, BLOODY NIGHT

With Patrick O'Neal, Mary Woronov, John Carradine, Walter Klavun
Directed by Theodore Gershuny

Quite silent, but not very bloody. An undisturbed house where the owner died a flaming death several decades before goes up for sale by his only heir, his grandson. Secrets of the past get dug up as selected folk get lured to the house to meet a sticky end. Billed as the first "seasonal slasher", the Christmas theme is hardly prominent. Woronov is the highlight. Also features Andy Warhol "Factory" folk Candy Darling and Ondine in cameo roles. We watched this NTSC copy on my PAL PS2 and it ended up being Black & White, a beneficial accident that ended up giving this lackluster film more character!
