THE FOG

With Tom Welling, Selma Blair, Maggie Grace, DeRay Davis, Kenneth Welsh, Adrian Hough, Sara Botsford

Directed by Rupert Wainwright

John Carpenter's original 1980 chiller wasn't that brilliant (unless you were a youngster at the time of seeing it). As part of the mid-2000s remake barrage,
The Fog also happened to get picked up. To be truthful, this is actually not a bad adaptation. A small island community has its centenary coming up, but its founding fathers turned to some wicked deeds in order to create their community, and those who got the short end of the stick returns in the shroud of fog for retribution and justice. Some cameos from the first flick would’ve been cool.
