Part of special effects legend Stan Winston’s innovative Creature Features which resurrects (often just the titles) of low budget movies produced by the legendary Mr. Arkoff many decades ago.
In this intriguing installment a sailor shows his live mermaid to the owners of a traveling carnival sideshow in the Irish countryside. They steal it without realizing the consequences. Sailing across the ocean with their new draw card, death soon haunts those on board as the mermaid proves to be as dangerous as she is beautiful!
An admirable effort.
