THE SIXTH DAY

With Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Rapaport, Tony Goldwyn, Michael Rooker, Sarah Wynter, Robert Duvall
Directed by Roger Spottiswoode

The cloning wave really struck big time at the turn of this century and filmmakers made the best of milking its pros & cons into a futuristic action flick. With our man Arnold in the lead as a regular working guy who finds himself in the predicament of being cloned and bad guys trying to knock him off, the search for answers, chases and explosions ensue. A fun future romp which, like
RoboCop and Minority Report, incorporate some cool future possibilities. You can't help but love the publicity line of "double the Arnie, double the action!".
Extra features on the DVD release includes a Making Of, 9 behind-the-scenes featurettes, storyboard comparisons and animatronics, trailers, filmographies and the full RePet ads and infomercials used in the movie (a cloning service for you beloved house pet). You also get an audio commentary track by score composer, South African born Trevor Rabin.
