Low budget horror-meister Larry Cohen takes a Blob-like angle instead of all out monster madness. A sinister plot to distribute a good tasting white substance as desert is investigated by Moriarty (in great form), with a comedic angle that makes it all the more enjoyable. Some gross-out sequences only add to the fun and will make you think twice when you reach for that desert in the fridge – and not because of the calories!
The initial South African video release was quite censored.
