THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK

With Jack Nicholson, Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon
Directed by George Miller

Mad Max director George Miller took the sex comedy and blended it with black humour and horror in this fine late-80s installment. Three lonely and sexually frustrated women in the lovely little town of Eastwick inadvertently summons up their fantasy in the shape of a man as wealthy as he is horny. Wooing and conquering each of them, their inner powers soon surface with disastrous effects. When they decide they should stay away, he gets angry and they realize he’s not exactly human. They have to get together and exorcise this demon from their lives. Witty, wild and hilarious. Jack Nicholson is fantastic and the ladies are all scrumptious.
