Just when you thought, “now what the hell will they come up with?!”, the producers of this bloody franchise pull another one out of the hat, to splattering entertaining effect.

This time round a group of young employees from a company heading off on a team building retreat escape death. One-by-one the grim reaper comes for them to correct the course of its fate.
Some spectacular (and as to be expected, gorily creative) deaths result, many occurring during a complex bridge collapse and locations like an eye laser surgery clinic, a gymnast hall, a factory, an Eastern massage parlour etc. The movie closes with a best-of compilation of all the death highlights from the entire series.

If you saw it in theatres you would've had the added effect of 3D to have the blood fly at you. Unfortunately this South African DVD release is in 2D.

A featurette looks at the making of the movie and the very cool way in which they tied this 5th chapter to the franchise (which was meant to come to its conclusion in the previous part as The Final Destination).
